Middle of the week weekend

My classes were canceled two and a half days this week! Unfortunately, I'd gone to my parents house the weekend previously, and left my laptop charger there... I was *mostly* without a computer this whole week!!

This forced me to actually DO things, ha ha. I had some time on my hands to finish projects I had lying around and also to brainstorm a little bit for blog content (Exciting!)
Anyways, this week I was able to decorate my sketchbook cover in a way that I'd been envying/considering/planning for a long time. A little steampunk thing going on, inspired by the fabulous artist Diarment on deviantart! diarment's galleryLook at all those fabulous things!!
Anyways, here's mine:

I was happy to notice it looks a lot like the spellbook I used to draw my Dungeons and Dragons wizard character with X3 And yes... I don't have  a camera. Most pictures I take for this blog have a very eloquent system of photography with the use of a webcam and me trying really hard not to cast an awkward shadow with my arm. It goes something like this:

Other fun snow day things were making and trying snow ice cream for the first time (It was really easy! Snow, vitamen D milk, vanilla flavoring, and we put cocoa powder in ours to make it chocolate flavored) Hula-hooping and climbing around indoors like monkeys, playing dorm room "Floor is Lava" and lots of drawing and Halo <3~
What a great weekend in the middle of the week!
